I started MOTHERHAUS because motherhood changed me in ways I could never fully explain. It softened me, unraveled me, strengthened me, and made me see beauty differently. After becoming a mother, I realized how much of motherhood photography felt performative or overly polished, while the real experience was far more emotional, layered, and transformative.
I wanted to create something that honored mothers as women first—complex, powerful, exhausted, beautiful, evolving. MOTHERHAUS was born from the desire to document this season honestly: the intimacy, the nostalgia, the chaos, the connection, and the quiet moments that often go unseen.
It became more than photography for me. It became a way to preserve the feeling of being needed, loved, stretched, and changed forever by a child.
